Transmission is a larger-than-life art installation that stands within the great expanse of desert in Joshua Tree, California. South African artist Daniel Popper and designer Morgan Brown co-created the ethereal sculpture to reflect to its audience the deep yet expansive interconnected web of all that exists between the material and the spiritual realms. Earth, our Great Mother, births and nurtures all life while the sun permeates us with its radiant life force energy.

Although seemingly isolated, she is firmly rooted in the earth and her spirit remains tethered to the heavens above. It’s a powerful reminder that every element in our universe – from the smallest grain of sand to the brightest star in the sky to the cells in our own bodies – is connected through a divine force that transcends the concept of separation. The universe’s transmission is clear: Awaken to divine oneness and live intentionally with love and compassion for all that surrounds us.
